WILLIS LEON MENDOZA

In Loving Memory

Willis Leon Mendoza, 35 was born to parents of Ester and Cipriano Mendoza, Jr. in Gonzales, Texas.  Willis attended school in Gonzales and graduated from Gonzales High School in 2004.

Willis went straight to work from High School to the oil field at the young age of 18. He later married his High School sweetheart Melissa Rios.

Joined into that union, they were blessed with two boys, TaShawn and Jay Shawn Mendoza. Willis loved to work on cars and he loved making music.

He was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Willie Cunningham, Grandfather, Floyd Isaac, Grandmother, Virginia Mendoza and Grandfather, Cipriano Mendoza, Sr.

Willis’ memories will forever be cherished by his wife Melissa Rios Mendoza, sons; TaShawn and Jay Shawn. His parents; Ester and Cipriano Mendoza, Jr.

Siblings: Christopher Isaac (Donna), Corey Mendoza (Sonia), Chip Mendoza (Michelle), Joshua Mendoza (Rita) and Melanie Mendoza (Derek).

He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.  Many great nieces and nephews.  His special Great Aunt, Johnnie Mae Taylor from Houston, Texas.  Great Aunt Ruth Goins (Reverend Goins), Great Aunt Alice Isaac and Aunt Lydia Flores (Marcelino), Paula Arista (Adolph), Julie English (Norman) and Uncle Timothy Isaac (Rhonda)
