Trinidad Hernandez Ortiz

Trinidad Hernandez Ortiz was born May 31, 1941, in Nixon, Texas to Trinidad and Victoria Hernandez. She went to her heavenly home on June 14, 2021. She was married to Juan Sistos Ortiz Jan 22, 1962, until his heavenly departure August 9, 2010.

She is also preceded in death by her two sons, Carlos Hernandez and Miguel Alfredo Ortiz.

Cherishing her memories are her family: Mary and husband Alfredo Rivas, their children Kacie Ortiz, Pablo Deleon Jr., Dustin Deleon, and Desiree Deleon. Norma and husband Armando Rodriguez, their children Malarie Bailey, and Dylan Rodriguez. Patricia and Antonio Diaz, their children Tina Pena, Antonio Diaz, Jesus Diaz, and Joshua Diaz. Fernando Ortiz, his child Carlos Ortiz and wife Janie Saldana. Pete Ortiz, his children Tawny Kulik, Sebastian Ortiz, and Tyra Ortiz; fourteen grandchildren and thirty-six great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Things she enjoyed: making homemade tortillas, sewing, shopping, feeding stray cats, Sunday service, calling her family at all hours of the day, San Francisco 49ers, LA Lakers, a good western, collecting trinkets, clothes, jewelry, and a good chisme'.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 18, 6:30 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church. Located W.2nd Ave. Nixon, Texas.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband on Saturday June 19, 11:00 a.m. at Latin American Cemetery.
