Tommy Waleck was born June 23, 1950, in Gonzales, Texas, to the late Oscar Langford Walleck and Minnie Marie O’Neal. Tommy was a lifelong resident of Gonzales and received his early education at the high school in Gonzales.
Tommy worked for many years as a dedicated commercial driver. He took pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic and dependability. His faith was an important part of his life. He was a devoted Christian who found strength and peace through his beliefs.
Above all, Tommy cherished the time spent with family and friends. His warm heart, steady presence, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He especially enjoyed the simple joy of a visit, and his door was always open to those he loved. He will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his former wife, Marilyn Rose Kulhanek Walleck, Brother, Johnnie Wayne Walleck. Sister, Marilyn Marie Walleck, and eldest son, Tommy L. Walleck, Jr.
He is survived by his children; Rebecca Ann Boedeker (Russell), daughter-in-law, Janice Ann Walleck, Kevin Dwayne Walleck, Julia Ann Walleck, and Jason Ryan Walleck. Siblings: Jimmy Walleck, Aubrey Walleck, and Doris Cooper. Also surviving grandchildren: Justin Walleck (Rachel), Kristen Walleck Solis (Bryan), Loren Cantu, Courtney Rodriquez, Cody Walleck (Amanda), Britany Copeland (Mason), Weston Walleck, and Laven Walleck, along with 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
