Wonderful Woman
Rosie Marie Sampleton was born on March 18, 1950, in Gonzales, Texas. She was the third child of Elijah and Mildred Kline Sampleton. She confessed her life to Christ at an early age. She attended and graduated from Gonzales High School.
Wonderful Life
Rosie’s career included childcare worker, housekeeper, prep cook and nurses’ aide in Gonzales, Texas. She later moved to Austin, Texas and continued her career as a nurses’ aide where she later retired.
Wonderful Legacy
Rosie departed this life on December 26, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elijah and Mildred Kline Sampleton; brothers, Mack Henry, Edward Ray, Eli Sr, Robert Lewis and Hayward Sr; sisters, Helen and Betty Jean.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a loving daughter, Nicole Marie (Kevin), a loving grandson, Jaylyn Marquis; a loving granddaughter, Dasiah Nicole; one sister, Sue Myrtle; 3 brothers, Willie Lee (Betty), Cleveland Sr, Lafayette Sr. (Rose); a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, relatives and friends.
