MARY DIANE CRUZ

Mary Diane Cruz, 63 entered internal rest on September 14, 2025, at the Heights Nursing Center, surrounded by loved ones.

Mrs. Cruz was born on December 18, 1961, in Gonzales, Texas. She attended public school in Gonzales, Texas.

Mrs. Cruz loved purses and often shopped for new purses. She was also an excellent cook and homemaker.

Mrs. Cruz loved her family dearly.  She will be missed by her family and all who knew her.

Mrs. Cruz was preceded in death by her father, Lorenzo Sanchez, and brother Domingo Vega, Jr.

Mrs. Cruz is survived by her mother, Olga Escobedo, two sons, Bobby Cantu (Michelle), and Angel Leon. Two daughters, Lisa Cruz and Tina King; Three sisters, Norma Jean Garcia, Brenda Velasquez, and Mary Diana.

She also leaves behind fifteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She also leaves behind her fiancé, Raymond Cantu.
