LaRue Beverly Obituary

For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in Heaven, not built by human hands.     2 Corinthians 5:1

LaRue V. Beverly, age 79, entered into eternal rest on January 3, 2022 at Hermann Memorial Southwest in Houston, Tx. He was born February 7, 1942 to Chester A. and Lucille Smith Beverly in Hungerford, Tx.

LaRue is survived by his wife of 62 years, JoAnn; daughters Lisa Paige (Rick), Larue Annette McDaniel (Edward), and Traci Ballare (Paul); sisters Barbara Kincaide and Ronnie Rylander; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; 21 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Lucille; daughter Rozalyn Denise; sister Claire Banks; brother Chester Beverly, Jr. and granddaughter Crystal Carney.

LaRue graduated with honors from Lincoln High School in Dallas, Texas. His primary career was in office/electronic sales. He was an avid reader of astrology and science. He was an expert video gamer which he shared lovingly with his grandchildren.

LaRue was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. His lifelong love of traditional Gospel music began at an early age while attending church at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Dallas, TX. It was there that he enjoyed singing in the choir and accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.

He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and beloved brother.
