TEALER, Kingston M., World War 2 Veteran, age 94, of Gonzales, TX died Saturday, January 7, 2023. He was born on April 12, 1928, in Gonzales, Texas to James and Alpha Tealer.
He joined the United States Army on June 10, 1948. After his basic training, he was stationed overseas in Heidelberg, Germany. While in the Army, Mr. Tealer attained the rank of Corporal E-4 and received several military decorations: the Army of occupation Medal(Germany), the Berlin Airlift Device, and the Motor Vehicles Drivers Badge. His most significant assignment was at the 70th Transportation Truck Company in Germany. Corporal Tealer received an Honorable Discharge on June 11, 1951.
He was preceded in death by his wife Myra Tealer, daughter Eula (Marie) Humphrey, parents, his brothers James Willis, Roy Marston, Lawrence, Milam Tealer, and sister Ruth Nation.
He is survived by his son Kingston Tealer Jr. and daughter Linda Davis. Brother Ronald Tealer of Gonzales TX and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, cousins, neighbors, and friends.
