JOSEPH QUINTERO Obituary

Joseph Andrew Quintero was born on May 18, 1973, to Robert Quintero and Nancy Chavarria.

He graduated from Gonzales High School in 1992 and attended the University of Texas San Antonio, Texas. He attended nursing school and became a nurse for 19 years. He later became a truck driver and travelled around the country driving an eighteen-wheeler for two years. Joseph’s last career was working for an insurance company as an insurance agent.

Joseph loved his 2 puppies and all of his family.  He loved to cook all kinds of food, read the bible, and watch movies.  He loved music and his favorite song was Wind of Change, which was the Senior Song at his graduation.

He was very reserved and kept to himself until you got to know him.  He was the loudest at all our family events with jokes and infectious laughs.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Irene Chavarria, and Louis and Ramona Rocha. Aunt, Pauline Rocha, Uncles, Tommy and Carlos Chavarria. Paternal Grandparent, Louis Quintero, Aunt, Beatrice Pastrano and Great Nephew, Hudson Nowotny.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy, and Silver Rocha, father, Robert Quintero, brother, Jeremy Rocha (Candice), Sisters, Mary Quintero and Jessica Corona (Robert), grandmother, Frances Quintero, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at the Harris Funeral Home: 127 Highway 90A, Gonzales, Texas 78629
