JOHN GARCIA

OBITUARY

John Garcia, 77 of Grand Forks, ND passed in peace, February 26, 2025.  Juan Garcia, son of Lucio Garcia and Porfiria Ramirez, passed away surrounded by family members at his home in Gonzales, Texas, after a long battle with lung cancer.

He worked in construction until his retirement.  He loved spending time at Casa de Oracion (lighthouse), cruising the town and playing with his grandchildren. 

He is survived by his wife, Teodora and his children, Cora, Dora, Nora, Lora, and Roman.  Including his 10 grandchildren, the majority living in the Gonzales area.

He is also survived by his two living sisters, Porficia (Nena) Molina and San Juana Garcia, along with nieces and nephews.

He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

Services will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Harris Funeral Home, 127 Highway 90A E, Gonzales, Texas.
