James Warren Curry was born on December 20, 1947, to Prentice Curry and Dorothy Dell Moore.
James went home to be with the Lord Sunday, October 23, 2022. He was known by family and friends for his keen eye for unusual antiques and collectibles. James had everything from his life-sized hand-carved wooden Indian to glass or wooden animals.
Collectors and shopkeepers well-loved James. He filled his life with history of Luling back to his fourth great-grandparents with his brothers Tommy Curry’s help.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Prentice Curry and Dorothy Dell Moore. Older brother, Howard Curry, and three nephews; Dale, Thomas, and Jonathan Curry.
He leaves to cherish his memory; one brother, Tommy Curry, and sister-in-law, Carolyn Curry.
Pallbearers: David Johnson, Randy Moore, Lou Moore, Timothy Scott Moore, Paul Sandifer, Howard Dale Curry, and Chuck Majoritta.
