GLORIA A SENTMORE

     Gloria Ann Christophe Sentmore was born September 10, 1934 to Alfred Christophe Sr. and Louise Vincent Christophe in New Orleans, LA. Gloria went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday March 31, 2021. She was 86 years old. 

     Gloria and her husband Henry T. Sentmore Jr. were High School sweethearts and were faithfully devoted to one another through sixty-six years of marriage. Gloria worked as a Bookkeeper, Seamstress and Salesperson but her greatest joy was dedicating her loving care to her husband and children, even taking on the responsibility of a single parent when her husband was serving away from home in the United States Air Force. 

     Gloria was an active parishioner at St. Helena Catholic Church in San Antonio, TX. She was a member of the Guadalupana Outreach Ministry which serves to promote a deeper devotion and recognition of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mother of God, Mother of the Americas and Our Mother. 

     Gloria shared an undying love and devotion with her husband. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with all of her heart. Her devotion and faithfulness to the Lord was paramount in her life. She thoroughly enjoyed praying the Rosary, praying for her family and praying for others in need. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

     Gloria was preceded in death by her loving husband Henry Thomas Sentmore Jr., her parents Alfred Sr. and Louise Christophe, brothers Alfred Jr. and Donald, sisters Marie Garrett and Joyce DeArmas, and granddaughter Bernadett Quiroz. 

     Gloria leaves to cherish her memories four daughters; Gloriadean and husband Roy Leggett, their children Keith and wife Apryl, Kevin and wife Priscilla, grandchildren Kya, Keith and Keilani. Yvette and husband Robert Hamilton, their children Theresa, Robert, Veronica, Gregory, Derrick and Abigail, grandchildren Robert, London, Niyah and Brooklyn. Yvonne and husband Bruce Bulluck, their children Lemar and Micaiah. Darlene and husband Kevin Tate, their child Katarina. Three sons; Henry III and wife Iris Sentmore, their children Samuel, Sarah and Deborah. Harold and wife Angie Sentmore, their children Andrea and Vincent, grandchildren Amaya and Kaylie. Gregory Sentmore, his children Damien and Ebony; a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
