EARLENE STEEN Obituary

Earlene Steen was born to the union of Hossie and Bertha Clack on November 21, 1939.  She went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at the age of 81.

Earlene Clack married Elroy Steen on January 27, 1957.  They were blessed with three loving and devoted children; Glenda, Elroy Jr., and Gloryn Ann.

Earlene accepted Christ at an early age and dedicated her life at Little Hill Baptist Church, where she remained a faithful member and usher until her death.  Everyone who was close to her, knew that she loved to spend time with her family, cook, bake, sew, and work outside in her yard.  She looked forward to the Christmas holidays when she would decorate every inch of her yard and house with beautiful Christmas lights. Earlene worked many years at Warm Springs Rehabilitation Hospital, where she built life-long friendships with many people that she held dear to her heart.

Earlene was preceded in death by her husband; Elroy, parents; Hossie and Bertha, daughter; Gloryn Ann, brothers; Ernest, Willie George, Bobby Joe, Tommy Lee, and George Wilson, one sister; Geneva, and great grandson Noah Blake Harris.

Earlene leaves to cherish her memory; her loving children, daughter; Glenda Steen, son; Elroy Steen, Jr., sisters; Georgie Mae Butler, Olivia (CJ) Harrison, Barbara (Leland) Cubit, sister-in-laws; Annette Clack and Katherine Clack, grandchildren; Latorie Erskin, Adrienne L. Steen, Deginald T. Erskin, Kontessa R. Steen, Elroy Steen, III, and Kawanza L. Steen.  Great grandchildren; TyShawn M. Erskin, Kiylyn C.J. Black, Amiya T. Moore, Kiegan C.J. Rizer, Braxton T. Steen, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
