DOROTHY JEAN (HUNT) FORD

Dorothy Jean Ford a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend of Gonzales, TX, passed away at home on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at the age of fifty-nine (59). Dorothy Jean Ford was born July 18, 1962 to Herman Hunt, Sr. and Mary Ella Hunt. She attended school in Gonzales, TX where she later graduated from Gonzales High School.

During her time of working, she worked for the Gonzales Sheriff Dept., and also was a private sitter. On her free time, she loved to play bingo and slot machines. She was very family oriented and was loved by everyone she came in contact with.

Dorothy Jean Ford was preceded in death by both parents, Herman Hunt, Sr. and Mary Ella Hunt; two brothers, Gregory Hunt and Herman Hunt, Jr, and one nephew, Lamond Houston.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter; Shanae S. Ford (Kendrick), three sons, Ayden Latrell Hunt, Stacy Eugene Hunt (Ericka) and Darren De’Shaun Hunt (Tammy), two sister, Betty Jean Cray, Renea Evette James (LM). A very special grandson Damian Hunt, a special friend Elaine Warren. A host of nieces, Nephews, relatives and friends. Dorothy Jean had one special son in law, Kendrick which he way very attentive in her life and loved her like his very own mother
