DIANN (GREATHOUSE) DUNMON

Diann (Greathouse) Dunmon was born August 29, 1954, to Emuil Sr. & Rose Lee Greathouse in Gonzales TX.  She received Christ at an early age at Waelder Church of Christ under CL Stockton, rededicated her life under Rev Maxwell at Union Lea B/C, and was born again under Elder Robert L Dunmon at Gonzales Memorial COGIC. She moved to Seguin & served as a Missionary at Galatians COGIC under Elder Hilliard. She later moved to Austin TX serving at McKinley Heights COGIC and Magnolia Church in San Antonio under Pastor Langston B Williams Sr. Now serving as a faithful Missionary at Galatians COGIC under her youngest brother Pastor Andrew Greathouse Sr. doing whatever she could find her hands to do lol. Diann was a "Facebook Missionary" Praying reaching out to whomever she could help, and she gained many souls for Christ. Always Praying & Praising in the highways & bi-ways she had a compassionate Love for others and Loved her God!!

Diann attended Edwards High then Gonzales High School and later went back & received her GED on August 9, 1994...we are so proud of her & Evangelist Missionary License on 1/22/2012!! 

In 1970 Diann married David Leroy Buirst Sr in Holy matrimony and to this union 3 Wonderfully Beautiful children were born. 

Diann later married Larry Neil Dunmon Sr. in Holy matrimony on Sep 3, 1986, adding 5 children & 5 grandchildren.

Diann was a devoted wife, mother, sibling, & loyal friend who Loved to sing, dance, & spend time with her Family.  She said all the time "I still Love to sing & dance...I just switched partners" lol meaning she now dances for the Lord. Diann always had a smile on her face, Loving, laughing-a comedian & the life of every party. Diann would jumpstart any church service for she was gonna get her Praise on but most of all Diann Loved and Loved Serving God!!  

Diann was Peacefully called home Monday, January 20, 2025, preceded in death by her Loving father Emuil Greathouse Sr., Mother-Rose Lee Greathouse, and Sister-Judy Kay Hayden. 

Diann leaves forever to cherish her memories to her Husband Larry N Dunmon; daughters Detrice Buirst & Donna Buirst, son David Buirst Jr, and Granddaughter Donajia Buirst. Sisters Louise Cook, Susie Hunt, & Juanita Henry; Brothers Emuil Greathouse Jr., Horris Greathouse, & Andrew Greathouse Sr.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.
