OBITUARY
Curtis James Smith was born to Genevieve C. Smith on September 19, 1958 in Gonzales, Texas. Curtis grew up in Gonzales where he attended Gonzales ISD and graduated in 1978.
Curtis moved to Yoakum, Texas where he worked for the Housing Authority of Yoakum. He also worked for Kintschik Construction.
He was preceded in death by two brothers; Paul E. Smith and David D. Hunt, Stepfather, Fred D. Hunt, great grandparents, Willis and Rosie Lampkin, Grandparents, Myrtle B. Butler and Richard Smith.
He leaves to cherish his memory; stepchildren, Henry Enoch and Shawn Enoch, mother; Genevieve C. Smith of Gonzales, Texas. Two brothers; Raymond Smith (Pam) of San Antonio, Texas and Douglas Hunt of Gonzales. Four sisters; Beverly Wilson (Harvey) of Flatonia, Texas, Patricia Banks of Gonzales, Texas, Marilyn D. Hunt of Gonzales, Texas and Julia Moreno of Gonzales, Texas. Aunt and Uncle; Martin and Jereline Clack of Gonzales, Aunt, Elizabeth Boldien of Oklahoma and Uncle, Richard James Smith of Austin, Texas. Special friends; Bryan (Keke) Polk of Gonzales, Texas and Stayton Ford of Yoakum, Texas. And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
