CARLTON HUNT Obituary

Carlton Ray Hunt was born to Farris Lee & Willie Mae Hunt, on December 27, 1954. Carlton was educated locally and could be found working across the area doing whatever task was before him with great energy and pride. Carlton had a love of the land (gardening) and animals (especially his roosters) that he treasured deeply.  He was a humble and sincere man, who had a heart for family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father & mother, 1 sister, 4 brothers, maternal grandparents, and paternal grandparents.

Carlton will be cherished in love by his remaining siblings, 1 sister: Ruth Hunt, five brothers; Billy Hunt (Elizabeth), David Hunt (Monique), Donald Hunt (Sandra), Eddie Hunt (Bertha) and Lanny Scallion (Ava), along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Psalms 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
