Angie AKA Easter, was born on April 9th, 1944 in Gonzales TX to Jodie and Bernice Greathouse. She married Dannie (Dan) Cubit in 1973. Angie spent her life caring for others. She retired working as a nurse for the VA in Lakewood, WA.
Angie passed away peacefully at home with her family on Monday January 6th, 2025. She is now resting with her Husband Dan. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Larry & Nat and Steven & Kelly; her daughters: Mildred, Jamelya, Tanya and Gianni; her grandchildren: Keyarri, Rodney, Dominic, Kayla, Javon, Taeja, King, Sayyora, Briane, Brittane, Brandon, Michael, Marcel, Ricshae and Trevon; and many Great-Grandchildren.
Angie’s love language was food. She loved cooking at the church or for her family on the Holidays. Everyone knew her famous pound cakes, Macaroni and Cheese or her Red Beans and Rice. She always made sure you had a plate to take home. Her other love was traveling, she had many adventures on a Cruise Ship and always made sure she took her yearly trip to Reno. Angie left a lasting impression by everyone she met. She will be missed and her memory will live on by everyone who loved her.
