SHIRLEY (PUENTE) CONTRERAS

Proverbs 31:25-28

 Strength and honor are her clothing; and shed shall rejoice in time to come.

 She opened her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

 She looked well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

 Her husband arises up, and call her blessed, and he praised her.

Shirley Contreras was born on June 12, 1964, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Eva Reyes

and Alfredo Puente.

Shirley was a mother of five, Bonnie Willis, Anthony Contreras, Jessica Contreras,

Luisa Ramirez, and Karina Zuniga.

Shirley was a grandmother of seventeen, Kayla, Oce’Anna, Shirley Sharay, Fabian,

Nathaniel, Aubri, Jose, Duaine, Aviana, Billy III, Johnavon King, Catalaya,

Anthony,Jr, Elijah, Christopher, Roman and one great granddaughter, Veleria

Ramirez.  Two sisters, Kimberly and Julian Santos, Sara Sanchez and Gina Prado.

Two brothers, Jose Gonzales, Abraham and Hayle Gonzales.

Shirley was an employee for years at the Holiday Inn and Sleep Inn in Gonzales,

Texas.  She loved her job and enjoyed working whenever was needed.

Shirley loved going to the Chinese buffet to eat. Her favorite was, Crab Legs.

Shirley loved her Tejano music, watching Novellas, and Law and Order.

Shirley loved football and of course her favorite team was the DALLAS

COWBOYS.
